Rendering multiple screenshots in a batch

Render as many mockups as you need in one go

This tutorial shows screenshots from a previous version of Rotato, so they might look slightly different on your Mac. We will be posting an updated tutorial shortly!

Sometimes you need the same mockup, but with many different screenshots, and that can be a lot of work. The good news is that it doesn't have to be. Rotato can render batches of images.

How to do it

  1. Select the mockup scene you want to use for all your screenshots
  2. Configure the scene's camera position, size, colors, and so on, just like you would for a single screenshot
  3. Go to Finder and select all your screenshots and drag them onto the mockup device
  4. Rotato will now ask for a destination folder. Navigate to it, and click Save Snapshots Here

Rotato will now save all your renders in the folder you specified

Adding a label

In step 4, you'll see two checkboxes. The first one is "Use file name as label." Ticking this box will use the filename, e.g. "Create an account.png" as the top label, so it becomes "Create an account".
